New Feature - Tenant End Dates report
A new report has been created called the Tenant End Dates report. This is similar to the existing Lease Expiry report, except this shows all tenant end dates, not just the ones expiring soon. It also lists tenants who dont have any end date specified as well.
New Feature - Hide inspections and work orders
You can now choose to hide inspections and/or work orders from the tenant and/or landlord logins.
To do this you go to the Functions -> Setup -> Options screen, and on the new Features tab, you can choose to show or hide these screens. Everything is shown by default which is consistent with the previous behavior.
New Feature - Sort Inspection Rooms
When creating inspection templates, you can now specify the sort order of the rooms as they will appear on the checklist.
By default, they are sorted into alphabetical order, however they can be changed via the Functions/Setup/Inspection Templates menu option.
New Feature - Secondary Tenant Search
The existing search function in the top right corner of the screen has been extended. You can now do a search of contacts names for owners and tenants, even if that name is not the primary contact. This makes searching for the appropriate tenancy a lot easier when you know the name of one of the flatmates.
New Feature - Vacant Property List
The existing vacant property list screen has been changed slightly. It is now sorted so that the ones which are available now are at the top. Also the currently available ones have a slightly different background colour to further hilight this.
You can re-sort the list by clicking any of the column headings.
New Feature - Printed Reconciliations
The existing bank reconciliation function has been extended with a print button.
This print button appears in the lower left corner of the disbursement details screen. This enables you to print the currently selected reconciliation for your records.
The print button is disabled for new reconciliations. You need to save your changes before you can print.
New Feature - Deleted import rules
When the status of a tenant changes to 'Closed', any bank statement import rules associated with that tenant are now automatically deleted. If the tenant is later re-opened, new rules can be created.
This help to clear out old rules which are no longer required to make the rules list less cluttered. It also helps in situations where a tenant has set up an automatic payment, and forgets to cancel it with their bank when they leave. When you go to import your bank statement, these transactions will stand out.
New Feature - Graph Date Ranges
The existing graphs screen has been enhanced with the addition of more pre-defined dates ranges.
You can now choose 'Last 12 months', 'Last 2 years' and 'Last 5 years' to go along with the other existing pre-defined date ranges.
